Q: What exactly am I getting?
A: Short answer: LIVE Zoom classes each week covering a range of acting skills, opportunities for direct feedback and coaching with me, a membership portal full of on-demand tutorial videos, and ongoing support from me (and your fellow actors) in our private Facebook group.
Q: Do I have to stay a member for a full year?
A: This is a month-by-month membership, so you can stay with us for as long as you find it beneficial to your practice!
Q: What sorts of techniques do you teach in the classes?
A: I teach movement, voice, script analysis and of course, Shakespeare techniques! A lot of what we learn is also applicable to contemporary theatre texts.
In each class I share exercises from the greats (like John Barton, Cicely Berry, Patsy Rodenburgh and Eric Morris) and exercises of my own creation, drawn from my years of teaching and my diverse performance background in theatre, music and dance.
No preparation is required for classes, except for our group coaching class, where you can show a prepared monologue or scene for feedback if you wish.
Q. What time are the classes?
A: Our weekly class times are:
– Sundays 11am BST / 12pm CEST (that’s 9pm Sydney for Aussies)
-Mondays 6pm PDT / 8pm CDT / 9pm EDT (that’s Aus Tuesday 12pm Sydney)

Q: Do I need to come to class every week?
A: Nope! The classes are recorded so you can catch them on a members’ portal later if you can’t attend live.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: If the membership doesn’t feel like a good fit, you can cancel within 7 days and receive a full refund, no questions asked.
Q: Do I get individual feedback as part of this membership?
A: I believe individualised feedback is a crucial part of your development. We have at least one group coaching session per month, which is capped at a maximum of 8 participants. In this session, you’re encouraged to prepare a scene or monologue to share with the group, and I will give you feedback and suggestions of next steps to keep you growing as an actor. I add additional group coaching sessions as needed, to make sure everyone gets the guidance I need. And of course you can always ask me questions in the Facebook group or by email. In short – I LOVE supporting my members.
Q: Seriously though, do acting classes over Zoom even WORK?
A: Yeah they do! I’ve been teaching primarily on Zoom since 2020, and by now I know which exercises are doable online… and there are a LOT of them! In fact, I prefer online lessons now. And I’m not just saying that. I’m so pleased that online teaching gives opportunities for people to join who usually wouldn’t be able to access classes. We still get up and move around and do 99% of the things you would do in an in-person class. If you’re still not sure, take a look at the class recording at the top of this page and join in for yourself.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: $47 US dollars per month, for as long as you want to stay a member. This price may increase in future as we are expanding BUT the good news is that if you join at this price, you stay at this price forever, even if you need to pause your membership.
Q: Is this membership suitable for beginners?
A: Yes – included in the membership is access to my Essentials Hub, which has additional materials to support beginners. If you’re feeling nervous, simply start with the materials in there and jump into classes when you’re ready!
